Dear our Esteemed Visitors,

Welcome to the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), the organization enacted by the Act of Parliament No 9 of 1997 and started its operations in early 2001. The Council is the multi-tasked body with roles ranging from advisory, guidance, standard setting, quality assurance and enforcement in Technical Education and Training.

However, standards are changing by day, and our life is more dynamic than never before. The globalisation is turning our world into a village and we are no longer competing within our regions, fields of training or within our country, we are competing with everybody and everywhere. Advancements in technology has propelled and fuelled this change on all levels. Economic and political systems are now global in nature.

Hence the task before our Council is reflection of complexity of ever changing global dynamics and our zeal to maintain uncompromising commitment to excellence.
